Stone and Tile Floor Cleaning!

For our customers who have used us in the past, you know what we can do for your carpet. Now see what we can do for your stone, tile, and grout!

Tile and Grout Cleaning is a careful, multi-step process that utilizes the technician's knowledge along with the latest cleaning solutions to provide an safe and effective method for cleaning your tile and grout.

Generally, the easiest way to see whether or not your stone or tile floors need cleaning is to look at the condition of the grout. Grout is the best indicator, because the grout is porous, and absorbs dirt at a much higher rate than the stone or tile.

Our normal cleaning solution is alkaline, which neutralizes and breaks up most soil and dirt in the carpet.

Our tile floor cleaning solution is acidic. The reason for the difference is that the stone itself is acidic, and therefore attracts stains and soil that are alkaline. To break up and clean alkaline-based stains and soil, a strong acidic cleaning solution is used.

A fair amount of the process is in the preparation. Much like any work that requires detail and precision, precaution must be taken. The technician will safely guard and tape around edges and any materials that will come in contact with the solution.

The solution is then applied, and is given ample opportunity to absorb and break the soil apart. A buffer is then taken to the floor, and the surface is cleaned. Suction and application of sealant follow.
